Business travel insurance for Danish companies

Covers reasonable and necessary expenses for medical treatment and hospitalisation as a result acute illness during your trip.

Covers acute dental treatment with up to 10,000 DKK. The dental treatment must be initiated during the trip, but it may be completed after the trip has ended.

Covers reasonable and necessary expenses for transportation to your residence or for recovery of your planned travel after treatment has ended. Additionally, the insurance covers transport to the nearest suitable health care provider if suitable treatment is not offered at your location.

Covers expenses for food and lodging for up to 3 of your kin in case of you being hospitalised, being transported home or dying during your trip.

Covers if you are subject to medical malpractice of an authorised medical doctor that would have afforded you right to compensation in Denmark according to the law of change, complaint and access to compensation in healthcare. The maximum pay-out amounts to 1,000,000 DKK.

Covers reasonable and necessary expenses for transport related to a getting a substitute to replace the person who has been rendered unable to perform the job due to prolonged illness, injury or death.

Covers crisis counseling necessary due to acute psychological trauma resulting from robbery, accident, threat, burglary, etc.

Covers damages if you, in a personal capacity, becomes legally liable for damage to people or things according to the rules of out-of-contract compensation in place in the country where the damage was done.
Damage done to people is covered up to 10,000,000 DKK while damage done to objects is covered up to 5,000,000 DKK.

Covers expenses for the excess in relation to collision damage on a hired car during travel outside your country of residence. Coverage is provided up to 10,000 DKK per collision.

Covers reasonable and necessary legal and travel costs related to trials and arbitrations. In case of collateral an interest-free loan is provided to ensure release from the authorities. Coverage is provided up to 200,000 DKK

Covers expenses to evacuation, food, and lodging in case of direct and immediate danger related to war, war-like conditions, civil or political unrest, terrorist attacks, natural catastrophes or deadly epidemics. If the same circumstances cause you to be detained, expenses related to lodging and domestic travel is covered.

Covers economic compensation for lost hours at work, health examinations as well as compensation for pain and suffering if you are assaulted by an unfamiliar person. Covers up to 500,000 DKK; compensation is calculated based on Danish rules for out-of-contract compensation.

Covers reasonable and necessary additional expenses up to 100,000 DKK for your kin in case you are kidnapped. This includes crisis counselling, travel expenses to gather the family near the kidnapped person and compensation for lost hours of work.

Covers expenses to search and rescue attempts for up to 14 days and up to 250,000 DKK.

Covers expenses to food, hotel lodging, toiletry, clothing, newspapers and magazines when your plane is delayed for more than 4 hours. Coverage extends to 1,000 DKK/day for up to 5 days.

Covers recovery of the original travel route if you have initiated your journey and you are undeservedly delayed for your mode of transportation. Hotel lodging is covered up to 1,500 DKK/day.

Covers expenses for maximum economy class for summons home if you are travelling due to sudden and severe illness, injury or death of a close relative, or if your home has burned, flooded or been burgled.

Covers if you cannot proceed with the planned trip due to:

- the death of a close relative
- sudden illness or injury
- burglary in your home/business/office
- fraudulent acts in your own company
- a non-contractual termination of employment in your own company
- a witness, jury or lay judge summons
- an inability to receive the necessary vaccinations
- a natural disaster or a similar occurrence having struck the destination of your travel.

Covers expenses for vitally necessary medication as well as items of clothing and toiletry if your baggage is delayed for more than 3 hours compared to your arrival at your destination. Insurance premiums may be elected individually.

Covers theft, displacement or damage of your personal belongings as well as those of your employer. An insurance premium may be elected individually.
